This inspection will allow us to determine the quality of the pipes and sewer lines of the home. This is important because if we notice a defect, this could mean that there are major issues with the home.

We insert a specialized waterproof camera into the sewer line through a cleanout access point. The camera travels through the entire length of the pipe, transmitting real-time video to our monitor. This allows us to visually inspect the interior condition of your sewer lines without any digging or disruption.
• Tree root intrusion that can crack or block pipes • Bellied or sagging sections where waste can collect • Cracks, fractures, or collapsed sections • Corrosion or deterioration in older pipe materials • Blockages from grease buildup, debris, or foreign objects • Offset joints where pipes have shifted
Sewer line repairs can cost anywhere from $3,000 to $25,000 or more depending on the severity and location. A sewer scope inspection before you buy gives you the information you need to negotiate repairs, request credits, or walk away from a costly problem.
